Following on from our success in November at the Wrexham Business and Community Awards, we were able to fly the flag for Wrexham and gain some national success at this year’s Finance Awards Wales in Cardiff.
Having been commended in this category last year we are very proud to say we won Independent Accounting Practice of the Year! What started as a small idea with a goal to be better accountants then the companies we have seen and experienced first hand, helped our business grow to a team of 8, supporting over 500 clients and building something we can all be honestly proud of.
We’ve helped clients turn losses into profits, uncovered thousands in savings they didn’t know they were missing and supported people to grow their businesses with real confidence. Whilst doing that we’ve planted over 1,450 trees and become carbon positive and become the highest rated accountants locally and regionally.
We are nothing without the support of our clients and it’s been amazing how many people have trusted in us and got behind us since our launch. It’s particularly rewarding for all of us, the staff, who always strive to help clients and go that extra mile. Receiving an award like this really makes the extra time and effort we put in feel worthwhile.
Not only did we achieve this at the awards but our Payroll Manager Tom Coombes was highly commended in the category of Payroller of The Year! A fantastic achievement for him and his growing team and very well deserved!
Not bad for a company that hasn’t yet celebrated it’s third birthday.
